We’re lucky to have some good relationships with some great farmers. This week and next we decided to showcase those relationships. Each box is locally inspired, showcasing all the beautiful veggies that are coming up as we draw closer to the big frosts that end the growing season. Everything that’s locally grown or raised is marked with an asterix*.
Here’s what’s in your box this week:
Chicken* roulade: Chicken wrapped in prosciutto, stuffed with leeks*, celery*, onions*, goat cheese, parsley*, roasted garlic*, and oven-broiled tomatoes* (kind of like sun dried but done in house)
Wild rice, kale*, and roasted squash* medley
Brown butter sage* roasted corn*
Apple* pie with a crumble top and spelt* crust
Our vegetarian alternative is roasted cauliflower with leeks*, celery*, onions*, goat cheese, parsley*, roasted garlic*, and oven-broiled tomatoes* . As usual, we can do a half-vegetarian half-meat box so everyone gets fed. Just include a note with your preference at checkout.
Order cutoff is Wednesday September 30th at 6pm with delivery Thursday October 1rst between 12-5pm.
