Sometimes our inspiration comes from the simplest and most heart warming places. The inspiration for this meal comes right from Anna's kitchen table.
Anna's kids love roast chicken night. As soon as they step off the school bus, they sprint into the house, and they devour the dinner with equal enthusiasm. Apart from the serious amount of love and care that goes into the chicken, the (not so) secret ingredients are the sumac and the lemon.
We've taken this meal and tweaked it just for you. We leaned into the sumac, lemon, and garlic to give this box a bit of a Middle Eastern flair.

Sumac Roasted Chicken Supreme
A sumac rubbed chicken supreme roasted on a bed of seared lemons, garlic, and herbs.
Harissa Roasted Carrots
Carrots roasted in a blend of toasted aromatic spices and harissa.
Slices of potato tossed with olive oil, herbs, and garlic. Slowly baked in an oven then pressed, sliced, and seared to give the perfect accompaniment to these bright and contrasting flavours.
Lemon pan gravy
Baked Orange Pudding
Similar to a sticky toffee pudding, this is a lighter twist to the traditional British classic.
Our vegetarian alternative this week is a roasted vegetable phyllo bundle. Everything you want in one little package.
As usual, we can do a half-vegetarian, half-meat box so everyone gets fed. Just include a note with your preference at checkout.
