This is a recipe of Anna’s that she’s always kept pretty guarded.
Back before Bouffage, when Anna’s zucchini plants would start going wild, she used to bring me a jar of this. I wanted to savour it, believe me. But once you’ve had it on a hamburger, you never want any other toppings again. Seriously, I was like the little kid in Oliver Twist, showing up to her house with an empty jar asking for some more.
Ingredients: Zucchini, onions, sugar, vinegar, red bell peppers, dry mustard, cornstarch, spices (celery seed, black pepper, and turmeric).
